Board of Trustees
The Defiance Public Library System Board of Trustees is composed of six members appointed by the Defiance City Mayor to a four year term. The role of the Board is to oversee the library’s operations, which are under the administrative guidance of the director.
DPLS Board meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of every month at 3:30 pm in the Defiance Public Library Community room unless otherwise announced. Meetings are announced in the Crescent News and posted at the Defiance City Offices located at 631 Perry Street, Defiance and in the main entrance of the Defiance Public Library.
