Visit Defiance Public Library on April 4 at 11:00AM to hear author Dawn Burns read from her new book, A Green Glow on the Horizon.
Burns is a writer who dares to expose the complicated, often contradictory yearnings and compulsions of fellow human beings. Her latest fiction collection, “A Green Glow on the Horizon: Tales from the National Association of Tourist Attraction Survivors” (Cornerstone Press, 2026) is a work that crosses the boundaries of humorous tale, social satire, myth making, and even horror. Join her, along with Jan Bechtel and Mary Catherine Harper, two of the sixteen artists who illustrated the “Green Glow” stories, for a zany reading that will stretch the imagination even as it gives listeners much to ponder about our social environment.
This program is free and open to all adults. Books will be available for purchase and signing. No registration is needed.
