Defiance Public Library System’s annual Teen Fan Fiction Writing Contest for grades 6-12 takes place November 1-30.
Details:
Submit an original story – 1,000-3,000 words – based on a book, television show, video game, or movie of your choosing. Stories can be submitted to [email protected] or dropped off at the Defiance, Sherwood, or Hicksville libraries.
Winner will be notified by phone no later than December 7. The winning story will be shared in the 2027 editions of the YA Squeeze Newsletter and in print inside the DPLS libraries.
