In honor of the 231st Anniversary of the construction of Fort Defiance and the 231st Anniversary of the Battle of Fallen Timbers a living history encampment will take place June 28 (9:00AM-5:00PM) and June 29 (9:00AM-4:30PM) at Pontiac Park in Defiance, Ohio.

Situated on the bank of the Maumee River and overlooking the Auglaize River this living history event will explore the early history of Defiance.
The time period will range from the 1770s through the end of the War of 1812.

There is no fee to attend, and programming is provided for all ages.

The living history encampment is sponsored by the City of Defiance and the Friends of DPL, and held in conjunction with Art in the Park and Riverfest.
