Please note: This program will take place at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 129 W. High St., Hicksville, *not* at the library.

It’s moving day for Laura Ingalls Wilder! In this presentation, Mrs. Wilder (as portrayed by Laura Keyes) is preparing to move her family from South Dakota to Missouri. This program is designed for a younger audience and shows the challenges and some of the fun aspects of life on the frontier in 1870s and 1880s. Children will learn that the extraordinary Laura Ingalls Wilder had a rather ordinary life, just like them!

This program is free and open to all, and will take place July 21 beginning at 10:30AM at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 129 W. High St., Hicksville. No registration is needed.

Keyes will also present on July 21 at 1PM at Sherwood Branch Library, and 6PM at Defiance Public Library.

These presentations are sponsored by the Friends of DPL, JML, and SBL!
