Rockin' in Ohio

Space is limited and registration is required. Register beginning May 5 on this page or by calling 419-542-6200. The deadline to register is 5PM on June 8. This free program is geared to ages 8-12.

In celebration of America 250, we will discover both natural and man-made rocks mined in Ohio during this special program on June 9 at 11:00Am at Johnson Memorial Library. Each child will get their own rock box to keep. We will also perform experiments on the rocks to test their durability and texture. Presented by the Ohio Aggregates & Industrial Minerals Association (OAIMA).
