This is the second program in the “Empowered Caregiver” 5-part series taking place on the second Tuesday of each month at 3PM at Defiance Public Library.

Marybeth Torsell of the Alzheimer’s Association Northwest Ohio Chapter will visit Defiance Public Library on Oct. 8 at 3PM to present “Supporting Independence.” This program focuses on helping the person living with dementia take part in daily activities, providing the right amount of support, and balancing safety and independence while managing expectations.
