Event Details

This free program for children and families will take place in the Summer Reading Tent outside Defiance Public Library on July 22 beginning at 3:00PM. No registration is needed.

Archaeologists are like detectives. They dig for clues from the past and try to solve mysteries. We will be digging up some artifacts to learn about the Hopewell People — indigeneous Ohio people who lived about 2,000 years ago. What artifacts will we find to help us learn more about this unique civilization?

Presented by Wendy Baker of the Defiance Soil and Water Conservation District.
