Join us Sept. 3 from 10:30AM-noon (come and go as you please) for a Penney Nature Storytrail Adventure!
Participants are invited to walk the Penny Nature Storybook Trail and read the story at their own pace. After completing the trail, they can make a craft at the shelter house, provided by the DPL Children’s Department. Geared to kids and families. No registration is needed.
Please note that the only restroom facilities available are outhouses, and the walking paths are unpaved. The story is displayed across 15 stations along approximately a half-mile trail. Wear hiking clothes and don’t forget your mosquito/tick spray!
